Draw a price series and overlay the classic indicators — SMA, EMA, RSI, MACD and Bollinger Bands — so you can watch exactly how each one is computed as you change its period. A builder for understanding, not a signal generator.
Read this first. The built-in series is illustrative sample data generated in your browser — it is not real, live, or historical market data. This tool teaches how indicators are calculated. It does not give signals, make predictions, or offer financial, investment, or trading advice. Indicators describe the past of whatever series you feed them; past behaviour does not determine the future. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell. Markets carry real risk of loss.
Common questions
Does this predict prices or give trading signals?
No. It only shows how each indicator is calculated from the series you provide. Indicators are descriptions of the past. The tool makes no prediction, produces no buy or sell signal, and is not financial advice.
Is the sample data real?
No. The built-in series is illustrative data generated in your browser so the formulas have something to draw. It is not real, live, or historical market data. Paste your own numbers to study a real series.
Where does my pasted data go?
Nowhere. Everything runs locally in your browser. Nothing you paste is uploaded or stored, and there is no backend.
Why do the indicator lines start partway across the chart?
Every moving indicator needs a window of past values before it can produce its first output. An SMA with period 20 has no value until the twentieth bar. That warm-up gap is honest: it reflects the lag built into the formula.
